I HAVE DIABETIC NEUROPATHY FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS.THE PAIN WAS EXCRUCIATING. SOMETIMES I FELT LIKE MY FEET WERE IN A BLOCK OF CEMENT. I STARTED WITH GABAPNTEN WHICH DID NOTHING. I THEN WENT TO CYMBALTA,WHICH SLIGHTLY HELPED. ITHEN WENT TO LYRICA,TWICE A DAY 150MG EACH PILL. THAT WAS EVEN BETTER. WHEN I WENT ON 350MG,THATS 3 PILLS A DAY ,THE RESPONSE IS WONDERFUL. I HAVE GAINED ABOUT 35 POUNDS OVER THE LAST 31/2 YEARS. I WAS VERY OVERWEIGHT TO START BUT I FEEL IT IS WORTH IT. AGE 67 FEMALE

I was taking lYRICA three times a day for neuropathy pain and didn't realize that I was having an adverse reaction to it. My daughter realized that my talking was rather odd and didn't make sense alot of the time. We went to the Dr. and discussed this with him and I was lowered to one pill a day which helped just as much.

Wow... I have fibromyalgia and reynoids (sp?) so I was put on Lyrica at first because my dr said it was the best treatment.. it worked amazingly for my pain but after I dont even think a week, I stopped taking it. My memory was gone, I couldn't remember anything I was doing, and I felt soooo stupid which can't work for someone who is in the comm college Honor Society and school was about to start again. Went back to dr, put me on 30mg cymbalta. Now I am worried about the withdrawals... ugh :(
