Global Patient Feedback for Chantix

I am on my fourth attempt with Chantix. It works, I failed. I gave into the nicotine cravings, even as slight as they were sometimes because I simply relyed on them to reduce my anxiety & stressful moments. I am on my first week on full not smoking, so far not bad. The nausea, was hard for me the 1st & 2nd time, but I learned that certain foods were not good to eat prior to taking. Toast/eggs/ oatmeal good things, anything with milk, not good. Meat & pasta good, just water, very bad, empty stomach w/water, was like 30 seconds later a bomb going off in my stomach. I have dreams and they are vivid, and sometimes wake me up. But the risks are not any worse then continuing to smoke. I turned 50 last August, I've smoked since I was 16. It is so time to quit.

I used Chantix for 2 months then began having feelings of nausea which got progressively worse because then I started to vomit so I stopped and haven't used Chantix since.

It gives me such great dreams that I want to keep taking it when I am done!!! It also makes me a little nauseous if I eat to heavy, which keeps me in line to keep on my diet even while trying to quit smoking. Still want a smoke after eating, but after 3 weeks I am doin okay!! Hope to completely get off em and live my best life. It is so restrictive when you are the only one smoking!!! I smell better too!
